I enjoy providing supervision to clinicians seeking credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist or Registered Play Therapist Supervisor.
- An active license to practice psychotherapy as an LP, LPA, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
- 150 hours of play therapy instruction from an institution of higher education or an Association for Play Therapy approved provider.
- 500 hours of supervised play therapy experience that includes at least 50 hours of play therapy supervision. (If supervision is provided by a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, clinicians are required to obtain just 34 hours of play therapy supervision instead of 50). Of the 34 hours, 20 must be individual and up to 14 hours may be completed in group format.
- Those seeking to become a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor must obtain 24 hours of approved supervisory training.
